I’m Daxon Weaver, though most people call me Dax. I live in Cairo, Missouri, where my family and I run several small businesses, including Weaver Family Farms.

I started Weaver Family Insurance because I want insurance information to make sense to the person paying the bill.

A word like “deductible” can seem straightforward until you’re trying to understand how much would come out of your own pocket. Two quotes can look similar until you notice different limits, exclusions, or ways of calculating a payment.

Those details deserve an explanation people can actually follow. That’s what I’m building this website around.

The Person Behind the Website

I’m a husband, father, homeowner, and self-employed business owner. My work includes a small family farm, a nursery, engraving, and raising dogs. I also have a Class A CDL and experience hauling grain.

Those responsibilities give me a practical interest in protecting a home, keeping vehicles running, and understanding business expenses.

They don’t make me an insurance expert. They do help explain my approach: I want to understand what a term means, where the costs fall, and what questions still need answers.

You’ll find that perspective throughout the site, alongside researched explanations and clearly identified examples.

What Weaver Family Insurance Covers

The main focus is home and auto insurance, with attention to questions Missouri families may have.

I write about deductibles, coverage limits, replacement cost, actual cash value, policy documents, and comparing quotes. The goal is to make unfamiliar terms understandable without hiding the details that can change the answer.

A lower price is only one part of a comparison. Readers also need to understand what protection is included and what they may be responsible for paying themselves.

I want each article to help you ask a better question, recognize an important difference, or understand a document that previously felt confusing.

My Current Role

I am not currently a licensed insurance producer. Weaver Family Insurance is an educational website, and I do not currently sell policies, provide quotes, or make individual coverage recommendations.

I am exploring the insurance profession. Any future services will be described accurately when the required licensing and business arrangements are in place.

For now, the articles are general information. Questions about your own coverage, applications, or claims belong with your licensed agent or insurance company, which can review your actual policy and circumstances.

How I Approach the Articles

My personal background and researched insurance information have different roles here.

When I share a personal experience, it should be something that actually happened. When an article uses made-up numbers to explain a concept, the example should be identified as hypothetical.

For insurance facts, I look to sources such as insurance departments, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and relevant insurer materials or policy documents.

The source matters. An explanation of one company’s product doesn’t automatically describe every policy. A general article also cannot establish whether a particular loss is covered under your contract.

Clear writing should help you understand those differences, not make uncertain answers sound definite.

A Missouri Perspective

This website is rooted in Missouri, but some insurance concepts apply more broadly.

When a discussion involves Missouri requirements or guidance, that distinction should be clear. When coverage depends on a company’s policy terms, the article should identify what you need to check rather than assume every insurer handles it the same way.

Living in a rural community also makes me interested in questions involving homes, vehicles, detached buildings, and property use. Those subjects need careful explanations because a small detail can affect the kind of coverage involved.

How the Website Is Supported

Weaver Family Insurance displays advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising helps support the website and the work involved in publishing information.

An advertisement is separate from an article’s explanation. Its appearance here does not mean I have personally used the advertised service, recommend its policies, or can offer its coverage.

Corrections and Website Feedback

Insurance information can change, and mistakes need correcting.

If you notice an inaccurate statement, an unclear explanation, or a broken feature, I welcome specific feedback. Include the article title and the passage you’re referring to. A reliable supporting source is especially helpful.

You can send website corrections or relevant business inquiries to [email protected].

Please leave out policy numbers, financial records, medical information, and other sensitive details. I can address website feedback, but I cannot review your personal policy or resolve an insurance claim.
